From the love for the cuisine, from my eternal dream of creating a restaurant by the sea-side, and the general taste for challenge, came the creation of il Lamparo in 2001.
Italian cuisine is inculcated in the tradition of my family for over 40 years. But I feel I can say that the Italian cuisine, more than something already intricate, is a family passion.
This passion has been handed down from generation to generation with much dedication and respect for culinary arts.

The products
Nothing was left to chance. We select carefully our caterers and partners and we maintain with some producers a relationship that lasts for more than three decades. Very many of our products are of true Italian origin.
Our Place
Situated right on the Vilamoura marina, we serve a large amount of homemade pastas and pizzas, risottos, good salads, fresh fish, aged meats and delightful desserts! All of this in a relaxed, cozy and sophisticated environment in the stunning Algarve coastline, where you would be able to enjoy a beautiful and unique view.
